QUANTIFIERS (CONTAINERS)


VOCABULARY:
A BOTTLE OF

A BOTTLE OF... water, wine, beer, ketchup, juice, oil, soda.


A PACK OF

A PACK OF... gum.


A JAR OF
A JAR OF... jam, jelly, fruit, mustard.


A TUBE OF
A TUBE OF... toothpaste, lipstick, shampoo.

A CAN OF 


A CAN OF... fruit, beer, soda, paint.

A BOX OF
A BOX OF... candy, cereal, salt, sugar.

A BAG OF
A BAG OF... candy, flour, sugar, rice.


Because uncountable nouns in English do not have plurals and cannot be counted in the normal way, quantifiers are often used as a way of "measuring" them. The basic quantifiers are someanya little, and a lot of, but there are many more.
